A whole generation of Louisiana kids grew up watching the Cubs on WGN. This is where they watch now. Game’s on, bottles are cold, and the full bar is open.

At Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place, 1614N N Columbia Street in Covington. The Chicago comes the right way: yellow mustard, neon green relish, onions, tomato, a pickle spear, sport peppers and celery salt on a steamed poppy seed bun. Want a bigger Chicago? Get the Dirty Dell.
Is there a Chicago Cubs bar on the Northshore?
Yes. Bruiser’s is the Northshore’s only Cubs bar, with Cubs games on, ice-cold bottled beer and a full bar. Cubs fans, Sox fans, even Cardinals fans are welcome.

Every dog is whole-muscle Angus beef with no fillers and no nitrates. The toppings are made from scratch, including our chili, 14-day sauerkraut, NYC onion sauce and coleslaw.
What sizes do the hot dogs come in?
Most dogs come in two sizes. The 1/8 lb comes on a steamed poppy seed bun, or a toasted potato bun if you prefer. The 1/5 lb comes on a Philly bun. We recommend trying the 1/8 lb first.
