At Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place, our recent Bruiser’s bank meeting with American Bank brought exciting news. This major step moves us closer to officially opening our Covington location.

Our Bruiser’s bank meeting included the top executives of American Bank—the Owner, CEO, SBA representative, senior loan writer, and our banker. They rarely meet customers face-to-face like this, which shows how much they believe in Bruiser’s.

Community Support Made a Difference

Our last Facebook post encouraged people to contact American Bank, and it worked. The bank owner’s lawn care provider called him personally to talk about Bruiser’s. Even though it was his wedding anniversary, the owner came in just to attend the meeting with us.

To top it off, he’s a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan who is thrilled that Bruiser’s will be right down the street.

Next Steps After the Bank Meeting

While the meeting with the bank went well, we must now wait until later in the week to go to the next step. The bank will carefully review our project and confirm qualifications from our General Contractor. Encouragingly, the bank owner himself will handle the review—a rare step that proves his commitment to Bruiser’s.

Preparing for Our Covington Opening

Our architect is ready to submit plans to the Fire Marshall once approval comes through. Thanks to this successful step forward, we are optimistic that the project will get back on schedule.

With strong community support and the momentum from Bruiser’s bank meeting, Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place is closer than ever to serving hot dogs in Covington. We can’t wait to get this project to the next level.
