Bruiser’s Covington Building Update: Big Step Forward!

We’re thrilled to share a major milestone in our journey — Bruiser’s Covington building update is finally here! After months of hard work, planning, and coordination, we’ve officially received approval from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal (LSFM). This approval marks a huge step forward toward bringing Bruiser’s Hot Dog Place back to life on the Northshore.

Moving Forward with City of Covington Permits

Now that we have LSFM approval, we can officially apply for the City of Covington building permit. Because the City of Covington relies on LSFM’s approval to issue permits, the process should move along much faster from here. We’re optimistic that paperwork and reviews will wrap up quickly so we can begin the next phase of construction.

Building Contract and Project Progress

Meanwhile, our General Contractor (GC) is finalizing the building contract to prepare for construction. We’re also incredibly thankful to American Bank, who has been an active and supportive partner throughout this process. Their commitment, along with the dedication of our team, keeps everything moving in the right direction.
