Our story began in Slidell, where a simple idea grew into something special — great food, friendly people, and a place that felt like home.

When we opened Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place in 2014, we didn’t know we were starting a local tradition. What began as one small shop in Slidell quickly became a community favorite — a spot where regulars gathered for comfort food, laughs, and Cubs games on TV.

After nearly a decade of memories, our final day in Slidell was July 31, 2023, but our story didn’t end there. We’re now bringing that same passion, flavor, and heart to Covington, LA — continuing what we started, one dog and one smile at a time.
