PrivacyThe short, honest version.
We sell hot dogs, not your data. Here’s exactly what this website collects, what it doesn’t, and who to call with questions.
No tracking. No selling. No spam.
No ad trackers, no analytics, no sign-up forms on this site. The short version
Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place (“Bruiser’s,” “we,” “us”) runs bruisersdogs.com so you can see the menu, find us and get to know the place. You can use the whole site without telling us who you are. We don’t run ad trackers or analytics, we don’t have accounts or sign-up forms here, and we never sell or rent anyone’s personal information.
What we collect
Information you give us. The website doesn’t ask for your name, email or phone number. If you call us at (985) 234-9574 or message us on social media, we use what you share only to answer you, take care of your group or event, or fix a problem.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our web host keeps standard server logs when a page loads: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and running well, and are not used to identify or profile you.
Outside services we use
A few pieces of the site come from other companies. When your browser loads them, those companies can see your IP address and browser details, and their own privacy policies apply:
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering you see on every page.
- Google Maps shows the map on our Visit page, and powers the directions links.
- Hostinger hosts the website and loads a small script on its pages.
- Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are linked from our pages. Nothing from them loads until you click through to their site.
Orders and payments
The website doesn’t take payments and doesn’t store card numbers. When you pay at Bruiser’s, the payment is handled by our point-of-sale provider under its own security and privacy rules. When online ordering opens, it will be handled by our ordering provider, and we’ll update this page to say so.
Kids
We love feeding kids, but this website isn’t aimed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has shared personal information with us, call us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Just call or stop by and ask for Kevin or Melissa. We’ll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we add something new, like online ordering or an email list, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
