The story

The last out

Anthony Rizzo played first base for the Cubs for ten seasons. On the night of the 2016 World Series, he caught the throw for the final out and slipped the ball into his back pocket. Our Rizzo is a sausage he’d recognize: mild Italian, mustard, grilled onions and giardiniera, the way they eat it on the North Side.
